You Know You Grew Up In the 80's if:
1. You've ever ended a sentence with the word SIKE.
2. You can sing the rap to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and can do the Carlton.
3. You know that "WOAH" comes from Joey on Blossom.
4. If you ever watched "Fraggle Rock".
5. It was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
6. You wore a ponytail on the side of your head.
7. You got super-excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school.
8. You made your mom buy one of those clips that would hold your shirt in a knot on the side.
9. You played the game "MASH"(Mansion, Apartment, Shelter, House).
10. You wore stonewashed Jordache jean jackets and were proud of it.
11. You know the profound meaning of "WAX ON - WAX OFF"
12. You wanted to be a Goonie.
13. You ever wore fluorescent clothing. (some of us...head-to-toe).
14. You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before his nose fell off and his cheeks shifted.
15. You have ever pondered why Smurfette was the only female smurf.
16. You took lunch boxes to school...and traded Garbage Pailkids in the schoolyard.
17. You remember the CRAZE, then the BANNING of slap bracelets.
18. You still get the urge to say "NOT" after every sentence.

I would be more into clackers, the Smothers Brothers, and maybe a little Howdy Doody and Shari Lewis (the first time)

Hm, a list that someone sent me had some of the following (though I don't agree with them all):
You watched the Pound Puppies.
Girls wore biker shorts under their skirts and felt stylishly sexy.
You yearned to be a member of the Babysitter's club and tried to start a club of your own.
You owned those lil' Strawberry Shortcake scented dolls.
Two words: Hammer Pants
You had plastic streamers on your handle bars... and "spokey-dokes" or play cards on your spokes for that incredible sound effect.
You can sing the entire them song to "DuckTales" (Woo ooh!)
You saw the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" on the big screen... and still know the turtles names.
L.A. Gear ... need I say more.
You wanted to change your name to "JEM" in Kindergarten.
You remember reading "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" and all of the "Ramona" books.
You remember Hypercolor t-shirts.

hmm... i remember a bunch from that first list but from karanas... not as many, but still some. as meg said, maybe it's cuz of my older siblings! either way, i kinda miss when life was that simple! ;)
these are hilarious. i read it aloud to ammon and when it got to the one about bon jovi's shot through the heart, i started singing it. the next one made us both crack up. good stuff!

HAHA!! That list is awesome! Having older siblings helps, but I experienced about all of those things myself in one way or another...ha, I'm still smiling!
